Tribe Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary baseball and Head Coach Mike McRae announced the release of the Tribe's 2024 schedule.

The 56-game slate will feature 32 opportunities to see the Tribe at Plumeri Park and 24 road contests.

Nine of the Tribe's 2024 opponents appeared in the 2023 postseason, including Virginia, who made a Men's College World Series appearance ranked seventh nationally, and Duke, who advanced to Super Regionals.
 
The Tribe begins their 2024 campaign with five home weekends, welcoming Holy Cross to Plumeri Park for opening weekend on Feb. 16-18.
 
Making their first road trip, the Tribe will meet Richmond on the road on Feb. 20 before returning home to host UMass Lowell on Feb. 23-25.
 
On Feb. 27, the Tribe will continue their schedule at home with the first of two meetings against Norfolk State.
 
Kicking off the month of March, W&M will host Central Connecticut State (Mar. 1), Boston College (Mar. 2) and Sacred Heart (Mar. 3).
 
The Tribe will face Old Dominion for a pair of midweeks, heading to Norfolk, Va., on March 5 before welcoming the Monarchs to Williamsburg on March 6.
 
W&M will play host to Fordham on March 8-10 and then return to the road for two midweek matchups at Virginia on March 12 and at Longwood on March 13.
 
Concluding their non-conference schedule, the Tribe will kick off a pair of home weekends with Quinnipiac on March 15-17. Then W&M will take to the road to Norfolk State for their second meeting of the year on March 20.
 
The Tribe will have their sixth-straight home weekend as Stony Brook comes to Plumeri Park on March 22-24 to open CAA competition.
 
Next, the Tribe travel to the Diamond in Richmond, Va., to take on VCU on March 26 before they continue to Delaware for the first road weekend of 2024 on March 29-31.
 
In April, the Tribe will face VCU (Apr. 2) at home and open a five-game road slate with George Washington (Apr. 3). For only their second road weekend of the year, the Tribe will head to West Long Branch, N.J., to face Monmouth on April 5-7 before meeting Duke in Durham, N.C. (Apr. 9).
 
W&M return to Williamsburg to host CAA foe North Carolina A&T on April 12-14 and welcome East Carolina on April 16 for a midweek at home.
 
Back on the road to continue conference play, the Tribe head to Charleston on April 19-21. Then, W&M will be back at home to host a midweek against VMI (Apr. 23) and a weekend series against UNCW (Apr. 26-28).
 
In their final midweek contest of the season, W&M hits the road to Chapel Hill, N.C., to face North Carolina on May 1. The Tribe will remain in North Carolina on May 3-5 for a weekend at Elon.
 
The Tribe will play host to Towson for their final home series of the year on May 10-12.
 
To conclude their 2024 regular season, the Tribe will travel to Buies Creek, N.C., on May 16-18 to take on Campbell.
 
The CAA Championships will take place at UNC Wilmington's Brooks Field on May 22-25. The tournament will feature a field of six teams.
