WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The No. 22/24 William & Mary football team will return to action when it hosts Monmouth as part of
Family Weekend at Zable Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, W&M will wear
pink accessories with its game day gear and encourages fans to wear
pink.

W&M Athletics, in conjunction with the W&M Police Department, has implemented a clear bag policy that regulates the size and type of bag that may be carried into W&M Athletics facilities during the 2023-24 year, including Busch Field, Kaplan Arena, Martin Family Stadium, Plumeri Park, and Zable Stadium. The contest will be featured as the
FloFootball Game of the Week and streamed for

W&M will look to snap a three-game skid when it hosts Monmouth on Saturday. The Tribe enters the contest with one of the country's top defensive units and currently ranks second nationally in passing defense (146.9), third in total defense (264.6) and sixth in scoring defense (16.4) and third down defense (.286). Additionally, the Tribe ranks among the country's top 10 in sacks per game (2.86). Offensively,
Malachi Imoh leads W&M's rushing attack that is averaging 235.7 yards per game on the ground – an impressive figure that ranks seventh nationally. Imoh has rushed for more than 100 yards in four of the last five games.
Monmouth currently owns a 3-4 overall record and a 2-2 mark in conference play. One of the CAA's most productive offensive teams this season, Monmouth is averaging 35.6 points per game and leads the league in total offense (440.9). Running back Jaden Shirden ranks third nationally with 131.7 rushing yards per game, while wideout Dymere Miller ranks third in the country in receptions per game (8.1) and receiving yards per game (99.7).
Saturday's game will mark the first meeting between Monmouth and W&M. The Hawks are currently in their second season playing football in the CAA.
