WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Graduate student Sarah Houle led the way for the Tribe at the William & Mary Fall Invitational, posting a top-five finish individually.
 
Houle recorded an even par 72 on Tuesday to finish the tournament at 1-over 217 and moved up into a share of fifth place. It marked her fifth career top five and ninth career top-10 finish, which ranks among the Tribe's all-time top 10 in both categories. Houle was fourth over the three rounds in par 3 scoring at even par and fifth with 10 birdies.  
 
Elon and Richmond both finished the tournament atop the team standings at 877 (+13). Based off a three-hole tiebreaker, using three players from each team, the Phoenix won the tournament with a birdie and an eagle. W&M finished in seventh at 915 (+51) and was only five shots out of fifth place.
 
Freshman Grace Lu closed out her first collegiate tournament with a 78. She earned a share of 28th thanks to a 232 (+16), recording all three rounds in the 70s.
 
Senior Mikah McDonnell and freshman Simone Senk both finished in a share of 33rd at 234 (+18). Playing as an individual, freshman Avery Thompson garnered a share of 40th at 237 (+21).
