Women's Soccer Travels to VCU on Thursday Night

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Winners of two straight, William & Mary women's soccer travels to VCU on Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Soccer Backers Stadium in Richmond. The contest will be televised by ESPN+.

The Tribe (2-2) is coming off back-to-back shutout wins over teams that played in the NCAA Tournament a season ago. W&M upended Old Dominion, 1-0, at home on a goal from junior forward Elaina Longjohn. On Sunday, the Tribe blanked defending Big South Champion High Point. The freshman combination of Madison Moon and Ivey Crain provided the game-winning goal in the Tribe's 1-0 win. Thanks to her back-to-back clean sheets, senior goalkeeper Zoe Doughty was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in her career.
