BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Redshirt Freshman Chris Arias wrapped up action for the W&M Men's Track & Field team at the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Semifinals held at Indiana University on Wednesday evening.

Arias competed in the second flight of the javelin throw and recorded a mark of 63.91 meters (209' 8") on his second throw, ranking 27th overall.
 
Arias Season Accomplishments

• Won the javelin throw twice this season (Fred Hardy Invt. and CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships)
• Named Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the 2022 CAA Championships
• Set a career-best in the javelin with a mark of 68.35m (Virginia Challenge), which ranks the best in conference this season and the 16th best in W&M history.
• Three-time CAA Field Athlete of the Week
