WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Thanks to a come-from-behind win in the regular-season finale, William & Mary men's soccer returns to the Colonial Athletic Association Championship for the first time since 2019. The Tribe travels to Wilmington, N.C., to take on No. 3 seed and defending league champion Hofstra on Thursday at 6 p.m.
The winner of the Tribe and Pride advances to the semifinals against No. 2 seed UNCW on Sunday at 2 p.m. The CAA Championship match is set for Saturday, Nov. 12, at the best remaining seed. Every match of the tournament will be streamed on FloFC.
Tickets for each match at UNCW this weekend are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (15 and under). Gates open an hour prior to kickoff and clear bag policy applies.

Tribe News and Notes
- The Tribe will make its 26th appearance in the CAA Tournament. W&M owns eight CAA Championships, claiming the league crown in 1983, 1987, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2010 and 2017. The Tribe is the No. 6 seed in the CAA Tournament for the second time. W&M was also the No. 6 seed in 2004, suffering a 2-0 setback to Old Dominion. Overall, W&M is 34-18-1 (.651) in the CAA Tournament, including a 15-5-1 (.738) mark in the quarterfinals.
- W&M is 4-0 in the CAA Tournament against Hofstra. Each of those four years, the Tribe advanced to the league championship. In 2010, the Green and Gold knocked off the Pride, 4-0, in the title match. W&M tallied a quarterfinal win in 2013 (1-0) and a semifinal victory in 2016 (3-1) on the way to advancing to the championship match. The Tribe downed Hofstra, 4-1, in the quarterfinals in 2017 on the way to winning its most recent CAA title.
- Earlier this season, the Tribe and Pride played to a scoreless draw in Williamsburg on Sept. 24. Each team totaled nine shots with the Tribe recording the only three shots on goal. W&M also had a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Alexander Levengood was named to the All-CAA First Team for the third-straight season. He became the sixth player in W&M history to be named to the All-CAA First Team on three occasions.

Diba Nwegbo and junior
Cole Knapp were selected to the All-CAA Third Team. It marked the second-straight season in which Nwegbo has been named all-league after he garnered second team accolades last season. The All-CAA honors was the first of Knapp's Tribe career.
- Levengood has 60 career points on 23 goals and 13 assists. He has done the majority of his damage in CAA play, scoring 16 career goals, including five of his seven game-winners in league action.
- In all games this season, Levengood leads the CAA in assists with eight. His total also ranks 12th nationally. The Richmond, Va., native is also third in the CAA in points (20) and seventh in goals (6). His point total comes in at No. 34 nationally. Four of his six goals this season came in CAA play. His two game-winning goals in league action are tied for the CAA lead.
- As a team, the Tribe ranks fourth nationally in shot accuracy, putting 52.9% of its chances on goal. Leading the way is Levengood who leads the country individually in shot accuracy at 67.6%. He has put 25 of his 37 shots this season on goal. His 1.47 shots on goal per game rank 27th in the country.
- Nwegbo ranks second in the CAA and 27th nationally in assists with seven. Four of his seven assists have come in CAA play. Nwegbo posted a pair of multi-assist games, accomplishing the feat at Stony Brook and versus George Mason. He also ranks second on the team with three goals and 13 points.
- After allowing 10 goals in the first three matches of the season, the Tribe defense has improved to posting a goals against average of 1.07 over the last 14 contests. Over that stretch, graduate student goalkeeper
Danilo Nikcevic owns a GAA of 0.92, registering five shutouts. Nikcevic is 13th nationally in minutes played (1440) and 38th in shutouts (5).
- W&M posted a nine-match unbeaten streak, starting with a draw against Longwood on Sept. 6 and running through a 2-1 upset win over No. 10 Wake Forest on Oct. 11. The Tribe registered four-straight shutouts during the streak, blanking Old Dominion, Stony Brook, Hofstra and George Mason.
- With its 2-1 win over No. 10 Wake Forest at Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field, the Tribe posted its eighth win in the last 13 years against the ACC. It was the team's first win over a top-10 foe since 2015.

Lucas Caldas, who scored the game-winning goal against Wake Forest, was named one of the top 100 freshmen in the country according to
Top Drawer Soccer. He ranked No. 100 on the website's Top 100 Freshmen list.
- Needing a win on the final day of the regular season, the Tribe rallied from a 1-0 deficit with two second-half goals in picking up the win over Monmouth on Oct. 29. Junior
