Women's Soccer Closes Out Regular Season against Hampton

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's soccer wraps up the regular season, taking on new Colonial Athletic Association member Hampton on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. and the match will be played at Wanner Stadium in Williamsburg at the Warhill Sports Complex.

It will be a key match for the Tribe as a victory would give the Tribe a spot in the CAA Tournament. The Tribe is looking for its first league tournament appearance since 2017. W&M enters the week at 6-7-4 overall and 2-3-3 in CAA play.

The Tribe is coming off a pair of close road losses last week. W&M suffered a 2-1 setback at Towson on Oct. 13 despite Cricket Basa's first goal of the season. On Sunday, the Green and Gold suffered a 1-0 loss at Elon.

Over the weekend, Ivey Crain was named one of the top 100 freshmen in the country by Top Drawer Soccer. She came in at No. 51 on the list and was one of four CAA players rated.
