- Loyola is 2-3-2 on the year following a 1-0 Patriot League setback to Holy Cross on Saturday. The Greyhounds own a 0-0 draw at No. 5-ranked West Virginia to its credit. Justin Ingram (2g, 2a), who was the Patriot League Midfielder of the Year in the spring, leads Loyola in scoring with two goals and two assists. Graduate student goalkeeper Chase Vosvick is a three-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year honoree and has a 0.58 GAA in five starts this season. The Greyhounds, which finished with a 3-2-1 record last spring and won the Patriot League South Division, were the preseason favorite to win the Patriot League.
- Nwegbo leads the Tribe with eight points on three goals and two assists and has registered at least a point in four of the Tribe's five matches. He leads the CAA and ranks 28th nationally in points per game (1.6). Nwegbo is also fourth in the CAA in 47th nationally in goals per game (0.6). He has scored a goal in each of the Tribe's last two matches. On Saturday at Hofstra, Nwegbo scored just 12 seconds into the match which was the fastest goal in both W&M and CAA history and the 19th quickest in NCAA history.

Alexander Levengood and
Nathan Messer own five points on the season on two goals and an assist. They ranked ninth in the CAA in points per game (1.0). Levengood scored a goal in back-to-back games vs. George Washington and Northeastern, while Messer tallied a goal against Saint Francis (PA) and Virginia Tech.

Alfredo Bozalongo and Nwegbo share the team lead with two assists apiece. They rank eighth in the CAA in assists per game (0.4). Nwegbo tallied helpers in wins over St. Francis (PA) and George Washington, while Eberle registered assists against the Colonials and most recently against nationally-ranked Virginia Tech. Bozalongo recorded his second assist of the season at Hofstra, setting up Nwegbo's early goal.
- With its 1-0 win over George Washington on Sept. 14, the Tribe started the season 2-0 for the first time since 2010. The Green and Gold started shutout its first two opponents of the year marking the first time W&M opened with back-to-back shutouts since 1996. The Tribe won the CAA title and advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 in 2010, while also winning the league crown and advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 1996.

Connor Andrews returned to the Tribe lineup for the first time since 2018 and has started the last two matches. He tallied six saves in both contests against nationally-ranked Virginia Tech and at Hofstra.
- Sophomore goalkeeper
Will Stack started the Tribe's first three matches of the year, posting two shutouts. He owns a GAA of a 0.67 to go along with a save % of 83.3.
- As a team, the Tribe has placed 27 of their 47 shots on goal through the opening five games. W&M leads the CAA and ranks third nationally in shot accuracy at 57.4%.
- Both Levengood and Stack were ranked among the top 20 players in the CAA according to Top Drawer Soccer. Levengood came in ninth, while Stack was one of two goalkeepers on the list and was No. 19.
