WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary field hockey returns to Busch Field to host its third nationally-ranked foe of the year when No. 18 Duke heads to Williamsburg on Sunday. The match carries a 1 p.m. start time.

- Duke leads the all-time series with the Tribe at 28-8-1. The Blue Devils have won 17-straight over W&M, including a 4-0 win in the most recent meeting in Williamsburg in 2019. The last Tribe victory in the series came in 2001 over then No. 8-ranked Duke, 2-1, in Williamsburg.
- The Blue Devils are ranked No. 18 in the latest NFHCA Top 25. Duke is 3-5 on the year. They own wins over Richmond (1-0), JMU (3-1) and current No. 7 Princeton (3-1). All five of Duke's losses have come to national top-20 foes in No. 3 Northwestern, No. 4 Louisville, No. 9 Maryland, No. 10 Rutgers and No. 16 Wake Forest. Leah Crouse leads Duke with two goals.
- The Tribe's 2021 schedule is loaded with nationally-ranked competition. W&M opened the season with home games against No. 16 Penn State and No. 8 Virginia and most recently traveled to No. 12 Liberty. The Tribe has four remaining contests against nationally-ranked foes in No. 11 Virginia (Oct. 20), No. 18 Duke (Sept. 26), No. 21 Old Dominion (Oct. 24) and No. 23 Delaware (Oct. 17). In total, the Tribe's non-conference schedules features six of nine matches against nationally-ranked competition.
- Senior goalkeeper
Kimi Jones ranks fourth in the CAA and 30th nationally at 4.75 saves per game. Earlier in the year, she tallied a season-high eight saves against nationally-ranked Virginia. She also ranks among the Tribe career leaders in a couple different categories. Jones ranks 14th in school history with 146 saves and is tied for seventh in career wins by a goalkeeper with 24 wins over her 40 starts.
- Three Tribe players have scored their first collegiate goals this season. Sophomore

- Junior
Tabby Billingham, an All-CAA Second Team pick in the spring, leads the Tribe with two assists. She assisted on a goal in the opener against Penn State and added another against Longwood. She ranks fourth in the CAA and 85th nationally in assists per game (0.40).
- The Tribe announced its captains and leadership group for the 2021 season. Senior
