RICHMOND, Va. – After posting tremendous campaigns, William & Mary standouts Belle Martire and Courtney Vasquenza earned postseason all-conference honors by the Colonial Athletic Association.  
 
Martire garnered second-team distinction for the second time during her career, while Vasquenza was selected to the All-Rookie Team.
 
One of the league's top players, Martire ranked fifth in the CAA in goals per game (3.25) and points per game (4.0), as both averages rank tied for 11th in W&M's single-season record book. Additionally, she ranked fourth in the conference in shooting percentage (.557) and sixth in draw controls per game (3.5).
 
One of the nation's top players in free position effectiveness, Martire ranked sixth nationally in free position goals per game (1.42) and ninth in free position shooting percentage (.739).
 
Honored as the CAA Player of the Week twice this season, Martire totaled a team-high 48 points on 39 goals and nine assists. The Baltimore, Md., native posted eight multi-goal efforts and seven hat tricks.  Her best performance came in the Tribe's 19-11 win at Old Dominion when she equaled her own single-game school record with 10 points and nearly matched her own single-game record with eight goals.
 
Martire finished the season with 112 career goals and 129 career points, figures that ranks 15th and 19th, respectively, in W&M's all-time record book.
 
Vasquenza quickly established herself as one of the CAA's top players during her freshman season, as she ranked sixth in the league in caused turnovers per game (1.33) and eighth in ground balls per game (1.92).
 
Additionally, Vasquenza ranked second on the team in caused turnovers (16) and ground balls (23). En route to posing the impressive numbers, she recorded multiple caused turnovers in five contests.
 
One of her best performances of the season came in the home game against James Madison in which she recorded a career-high five ground balls with three caused turnovers.
