The William & Mary field hockey is back in action for the first time in almost two weeks tomorrow, hosting Towson at 2 p.m. at Busch Field. The game can be streamed live for free on the Tribe Sports Network. Wednesday's game is sponsored by VCU Health.

No General Attendance
Attendance at home games is NOT open to the general public. The field hockey team is allowed a limited number of entries on a pass list for the athletes, and then any extra capacity up to the state of Virginia's limit of 30% of listed capacity can be filled by W&M students with campus-issued ID cards.
Scouting the Tribe
W&M defeated Drexel 2-1 in its last game on March 25 to even its record at 1-1 on the season. Senior

Kimi Jones (Virginia Beach, Va.) split time in goal as George earned her first career win. Freshman
Jayden Moon (Spotsylvania, Va.) was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Rookie of the Week, after picking up her first career point while assisting Saunders' goal.
Scouting the Tigers
Towson is 2-2 overall and 1-1 in CAA play, after defeating Northeastern 3-1 on the road in their last outing. That was the Tigers' first win in conference play since 2011, and the first road win in the league since 2010. Jenna Florenzo and Samantha Aljets each have a pair of goals to lead the team offensively, while on defense, Kasey Bubel has three defensive saves and goalkeeper Lena Vandam was named the CAA Player of the Week for her .800 save percentage against the Huskies. For the season, Vendam has 6.25 saves per game and a.735 save percentage.

W&M leads the all-time series with Towson 26-3-1, and has won eight in a row including 3-1 at Towson in 2019.

- Elected as captains for this season were
Cara Menges (Richmond, Va.) (for the second time) and senior
Ella Donahue (Midlothian, Va.). Senior
Haley Hopkins (Springfield, Va.) and
junior Jorja Morgan (Wakerley, QLD, Australia) were chosen as vice-captains.
- Hopkins led the Tribe with four game-winning goals in 2019, tied for 11th-most all-time.
- Junior
Kimi Jones ranks eighth all-time in career wins at W&M, with 22 in her first two years.
- Menges ranks eighth in school history with 0.26 assists per game, and fourth all-time with 1.26 shots on goal per game.
- 11 players from W&M were named to the NFHCA All-Academic Squad, the third year in a row the Tribe has had 10+ honorees. To qualify, athletes had to have over a 3.3 GPA through the fall semester.
- Three players - Jones, Moon, and sophomore
Tabby Billingham (Dallinghoo, Suffolk, England) were all named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction for having a GPA over 3.9.
- The 2021 spring season will only encompass CAA games, with the top four teams advancing to the CAA Tournament April 22-24 at the University of Delaware.
