WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- The William & Mary Field Hockey team (3-12, 1-3 CAA) will travel to Hofstra (2-12, 0-4 CAA) for its regular season road finale on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.

Friday's contest will be streamed on MSG Network and FloCollege with Phil Constantino and Luca Dallasta on the call from Cindy Lewis Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y.

TRIBE OUTLOOK
W&M returns to action after a pair of setbacks last weekend to ranked opponents in then-No. 20 Monmouth and then-No. 17 Lafayette.
Goalkeepers Emma Cari and Alexandra De Jesus combined for 20 saves over the weekend, including Cari recording a career-high nine stops on Sunday against the Leopards in Easton, Pa.

De Jesus currently ranks second in the CAA averaging 4.3 saves per contest.

Offensively, Josie Mae Gruendel continues to lead the charge with eight points, three goals and two assists on the season. Hailey Haynes joins Gruendel with three goals on the season and Sam Daly ranks second on the team with two goals and two assists.

ELLIS HONORED FOR WIN NO. 100
On Sept. 4, Head Coach Tess Ellis earned her 100th career win after a 5-2 victory over Longwood. On Saturday, during the 100th anniversary of homecoming at William & Mary, Ellis will be recognized for her milestone with an on-field presentation during the Tribe's home football game against Georgetown at Zable Stadium.

SERIES HISTORY

Hofstra has taken each of the last three contests as the Green and Gold is seeking its first victory over its conference foe since Oct. 16, 2022, a 1-0 decision in Hempstead. Current Assistant Coach Lauren Curran provided the game-winning tally for W&M in that contest.

PRIDE WATCH
Hofstra enters its home finale on Friday on an 11-game skid and is searching for its first win since Sept. 4.

Sarah Smalley has led the Pride this season with a team-high 16 points, six goals and four assists.
