WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team posted its second-best score of the season but fell to top-ranked Oklahoma, 403.7-384.9, on Senior Day at Kaplan Arena on Saturday afternoon.
In addition to recording its second-best team score of the 2021 campaign, W&M earned a season-high mark on rings (64.25).
Individually,
Andrew Lyubovsky led the Tribe with a second-place finish in all-around (76.7), while
Aidan Cuy finished third with a career-best 75.7.
Spencer Schrandt also earned a top-three finish on pommel horse with a season-high 13.35.
The meet marked the final home event for eight W&M gymnasts:

Cutter Fugett,
Jordan Kula,
Collin Lillie, Lyubovsky,
Zane Petras,
Kevin Portofee and Schrandt.
Event Recaps
Floor, 64.95 – Fugett and Lyubovsky led the Tribe on floor with a pair of 13.3's to tie for fifth.
Pommel Horse, 61.0 – Schrandt's third-place finish on pommel horse highlighted W&M's performances in the event.
Rings, 64.25 –
Christian Marsh nearly matched his season high on rings with a 13.15 to place fourth, as his effort helped W&M earn its best score of the year in the event.
Vault, 68.0 – Creelman and Lillie registered the Tribe's top score on vault with a (13.7) and tied for fifth.
Parallel Bars, 64.65 – Lyubovsky and Marsh tallied a 13.35 and a 13.3, respectively, on parallel bars and were W&M's best scorers in the event.
High Bar, 62.05 – Creelman and Lyubovsky narrowly missed out on a top-three finish on high bar with a pair of 13.0's. The effort marked a season best for Creelman.
