5 Things to Know
- The Tribe plays its second of four CAA matches during the 2021 spring season. Following a 2-0 win over Charleston on March 14, W&M hits the road for the first time in league play at reigning CAA Champion and No. 12-ranked UNCW. This season, the CAA is divided into North and South Divisions with top two teams from each advancing to the CAA Tournament. The Tribe, which is 1-0 in CAA play, will also travel to Elon (April 10) along with hosting James Madison (April 2).
- W&M leads the all-time series with UNCW at 35-8-6, and the Green and Gold has outscored the Seahawks, 139-51, in the 49 all-time meetings. Last season, the teams drew 1-1 during the regular season in Williamsburg before the Seahawks pulled out a narrow 2-1 victory in the CAA semifinals in Wilmington. Seven of the UNCW's eight wins in the series have come since 2008. Over that stretch, they hold a 7-4-4 advantage.

Alexander Levengood recorded his first career brace in the Tribe's 2-0 win the last time out over Charleston. In the 38th minute, he got on the end of a
Nathan Messer cross to volley home what proved to be the game-winner from eight yards out. He added a second-half penalty kick for his second marker of 2021. Levengood recorded his second career game-winner and increased his career goals total to nine.

Will Stack garnered the CAA Rookie of the Week award for the second-straight week on March 15. He recorded his first career shutout, making a save against Charleston. On the year, Stack has seven saves and sports a goals against average of 0.62 in three matches. His GAA ranks fourth in the CAA.
- Youth is served on the Tribe's roster for the 2021 spring season. Of the 26 players on the roster, 21 are freshmen or sophomores, and there are zeros seniors. In the Tribe's first three matches, W&M has started nine freshmen and sophomores among its first XI. Last season, the Tribe started five freshmen in its final 15 matches.
