WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—William & Mary lacrosse head coach Colleen Dawson has announced the Tribe's schedule for the upcoming 2021 season.

The exciting slate features 12 regular-season contests, which is highlighted by six home games and matchups against three opponents nationally ranked in the preseason Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association (IWLCA) Poll.

W&M will open the campaign with road games in three of its first four contests, as it travels to No. 15 Duke (Feb. 18), Old Dominion (Feb. 24) and Longwood (March 6) while it hosts No. 14 Richmond (Feb. 27).

The Tribe will then close out the bulk of its non-conference slate with home games against Liberty (March 13), Campbell (March 20) and Radford (March 27).

The Colonial Athletic Association will utilize a modified scheduling format this season due to the CoVID-19 pandemic, as the conference will be split into two divisions (North and South). The South Division (W&M, JMU, Elon) will compete in a double round-robin, while the North Division (Delaware, Drexel, Hofstra, Towson) will play a round-robin plus one slate.

W&M's league home dates include Elon (April 3) and James Madison (April 14), while it will travel to the Dukes on April 23 and the Phoenix on May 2.

The Tribe will also travel to Towson on April 10 in what will be considered a non-conference game.

James Madison will host the CAA Championship on May 7 & 9, as the top two teams in each division plus an at-large selection will compete for the conference title.

All Tribe lacrosse home games during the spring season will be played at Busch Field. During the fall, Albert-Daly Field received an upgrade to its drainage system and new sod on the playing surface. In an effort to allow the sod to take, no events will be held at Martin Family Stadium during the spring season.
