HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The William & Mary lacrosse team concluded its 2026 season with a 15-2 setback at Hofstra on Saturday afternoon.
Playing in rainy conditions, Hofstra (10-6, 6-1) jumped out to an early 3-0 lead before
Mila Millhouse put W&M (7-9, 2-5) on the scoreboard with 1:46 remaining in the opening quarter.
However, HU limited the Tribe to just one goal, another Milhouse score midway through the third quarter, during the remainder of the contest en route to securing the conference victory.
In addition to recording both of W&M's goals, Millhouse also totaled a career-high four caused turnovers and two ground balls.
Molly Delaney added two caused turnovers and two ground balls.
Hofstra outshot W&M, 37-9, which included a 20-6 margin in attempts on goal.
The Pride also owned advantages in draw controls (15-4) and ground balls (16-13), while it committed three fewer turnovers (15-18).
Nikki Mennella led HU with eight points (5g, 3a) to go with a team-high six draw controls, while Kayleigh Bender contributed five points (4g, 1a). Christine Dannenfelser added four caused turnovers and four draw controls.
