WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's soccer returns home to host Drexel on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field.

- The Tribe is coming off a 3-1 setback at nationally-ranked JMU last week. W&M scored first on an
Alexander Levengood volley in the 57th minute, but the Dukes answered in the 72nd minute and took the lead for good on a PK with 12 minutes remaining. W&M is 3-6 overall and 1-3 in CAA play entering Saturday.
- W&M leads the all-time series with Drexel at 14-5-1, including an impressive 9-1 mark in Williamsburg. The Tribe has outscored Drexel, 36-17, in the 20 all-time meetings. Drexel won the last meeting between the teams, 2-1, in Philadelphia in 2019.
Alexander Levengood converted a PK for the Tribe's lone goal. The last time the teams squared off in Williamsburg, the Tribe posted a 2-1 in 2018. Drexel's only win in Williamsburg came in 2012.
- Drexel is 5-5-1 overall and 2-1-1 in CAA play. Despite outshooting Penn, 24-12, the Dragons suffered a 2-1 loss in its most recent match at the Quakers on Tuesday. Drexel owns CAA wins over UNCW (2-0) and Charleston (2-1) to go along with a 2-1 loss at Hofstra and a scoreless draw with Elon. Chris Donovan, who is a two-time All-CAA First Team pick, leads the Dragons with 20 points on nine goals and two assists. Cameron Sanders owns nine starts in goal for Drexel, posting a 1.03 GAA with four shutouts and 32 saves.
- The Tribe's six losses this season have come to teams with a combined record of 49-16-8 (.726). Four of the six setbacks have come to teams currently in the national rankings. Virginia Tech was No. 5 and James Madison was No. 15 in the United Soccer Coaches Rankings released on Tuesday, while Wake Forest came in at No. 19 and Hofstra was ranked No. 22 in Top Drawer Soccer's Rankings on Monday.

Alexander Levengood leads the Tribe in points (9) and goals (4). He has scored in three of W&M's four CAA matches this season. Levengood ranks sixth in the CAA in goals per game (0.44) and his two game-winners rank seventh. For his career, Levengood has scored 14 goals in 32 games, including 11 goals against CAA foes. In the Top Drawer Soccer preseason conference rankings, Levengood was rated the ninth-best player in the league.

Diba Nwegbo is second on the team with eight points and three goals, while tied for the team in with two assists. In the Tribe's first CAA road match at Hofstra on Sept. 25, Nwegbo scored the fastest goal in both league and school history. His goal was 12 seconds into the match marking the 19th quickest in NCAA history.

Connor Andrews returned to the Tribe lineup for the first time since 2018 and has started five of the Tribe's last six matches. He posted back-to-back matches of six saves against Virginia Tech and at Hofstra and recorded his second career shutout in the league win over Charleston. He ranks fifth in the CAA and 48th nationally at four saves per game.
- As a team, the Tribe has placed 36 of their 76 shots on goal. W&M leads the CAA and ranks 31st nationally in shot accuracy at 47.4%. Individually, Nwegbo ranks 13th in the country in shooting accuracy (65%) and 50th in shots on goal per game (1.44).
- With its 1-0 win over George Washington on Sept. 14, the Tribe started the season 2-0 for the first time since 2010. The Green and Gold started shutout its first two opponents of the year marking the first time W&M opened with back-to-back shutouts since 1996.
- For the second time, the Tribe hosted a Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer® match partnering with the
Go 4 the Goal Foundation to raise money for pediatric cancer research. During the spring, W&M raised over $3,000 for the Go 4 the Goal Foundation. As part of the match with the Hokies, the Tribe wore gold shoelaces in Lacing Up 4 Pediatric Cancer.
