Dear Tribe Volleyball Faithful,
Â
It's with a combination of surprise and disappointment that our spring season has abruptly come to an end.
Â
We're fortunate to have been able to compete this past fall and give our lone senior,
Autumn Brenner, a chance to play her final game in Kaplan Arena. For those seniors who won't get that opportunity we'd like to extend our heartfelt sympathy; we'd also like to say thank you for the contributions, hard work, and years of selfless giving to the Tribe.
Â
Although our team won't be physically together, I can guarantee all of our supporters that we will do everything in our power to train hard and keep ourselves physically strong; to read, reflect, study, and learn to stay sharp and continue growing; and to use the wonderful technology at our disposal to keep the fabric of our sisterhood tightly knit and ready to support a promising fall campaign.
Â
In the absence of certainty, we fall back on our cultural bedrock –Sacrifice & Sisterhood. There can and will be great sacrifices we must all make, and with humility, hunger, and intentional behavior, our sisterhood will strengthen and overcome.
Â
Go Tribe!
Â
Tim
