AKRON, Ohio – The William & Mary men's golf team is tied for 11th place after the first two rounds of the Firestone Invitational with a 597 (+21) after the first 36-holes. W&M shot a 300 (+12) in the first round, before improving to a 297 (+9) in the second round.
 
Senior Ben Morris continued his strong start the season as he carded a 147 (+3) after the first two rounds. The senior shot a 71 (-1) in the second round to record the only round under par by a Tribe member on the day.
 
Junior Otto Voettiner led the Tribe in the first round with a 73 (+1) and matched that with a second-round score of a 74 (+2). Voettiner is tied with Morris for the team lead with a 147 (+3) in is tied for 25th.
