A three-time USA Gymnastics Collegiate All-America standout on rings, Makey claimed the USAG Collegiate national title in 2018. Additionally, he won the Eastern College Athletic Conference rings title in 2017.
An outstanding student who is pursuing a double major in English and Government, Makey was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Society and is a three-time College Gymnastics Association first-team Academic All-American Scholar-Athlete.
Additionally, Makey currently serves as the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) President after being a Service Chair last year.
