Next week's 54th annual Colonial Relays will once again be broadcast live worldwide on Friday and Saturday, April 5-6. William & Mary track & field has partnered again with FloTrack.org to bring the nation's largest regular-season scored meet to the nation's largest dedicated track & field webstream provider for the second year in a row. The event annually attracts thousands of collegiate athletes to Zable Stadium and the Dan Stimson Throwing Events Area.
The broadcast, which can be viewed with either a yearly or monthly subscription to FloTrack.org's PRO access, will cover every track event inside Zable Stadium, as well as some bonus coverage of jumping events which also take place in the stadium. FloTrack is part of the FloSports family, and annually broadcasts some of the biggest events in collegiate track & field, including the NCAA Championships; Penn, Kansas, and Drake Relays; and numerous conference championships.
The Colonial Relays began in 1963 and will be run for the 54th time next week. More than 50 teams from all three NCAA Divisions as well as the NAIA and NJCAA participate annually across the three days of competition. Thursday will see the men's hammer throw compete, while Friday's broadcast window features individual events on both the track and in the field. Saturday's track events are dominated by relay events, including the 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x1,500m, 1,600m sprint medley, and the distance medley.
