WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary baseball team battled through rainy conditions to rally past Campbell, 5-2, for its seventh-consecutive win on Friday night. The Tribe (10-1) used a five-run burst in the sixth inning to overcome a two-run deficit against the Camels (8-5).
CU broke the scoreless tie in the top of the fourth inning. Back-to-back doubles set the table for the two-run frame. Collin Wolf pushed across the first run behind a RBI grounder to shortstop. Spencer Packard then sent a sacrifice fly to center field for an early 2-0 lead.
However, the Tribe caught fire in the bottom of the sixth with a five-run rally to erase the deficit. Freshman

Kyle Wrighte drew a one-out walk. A double steal set up senior
Hunter Smith for a two-RBI single up the middle. After back-to-back walks, rookie
Hunter Hart drove a bases-clearing double to right center for the 5-2 advantage.

Chris Farrell combined for three shutout innings out of the bullpen. Junior
Wade Strain (2-0) gained the win after lasting six innings with three strikeouts, four hits and two runs. Farrell pitched the final inning and struck out a pair to earn his second save.

Hart spotlighted the offensive production after finishing 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Smith added two more RBI behind his base hit. Cone also doubled. drew a walk and stole two bases, while freshman
