After posting a tremendous performance in the William & Mary men's gymnastics team's win at UIC on Sunday, freshman
Andrew Lyubovsky was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
The honor marks the second consecutive week in which Lyubovsky has garnered the distinction.
Lyubovsky's impressive effort was highlighted by winning the parallel bars title with a 13.05, while he placed second on floor (13.3) and high bar (12.75).
The Fairfax, Va., native also finished fourth on vault with a 13.8.
Lyubovsky currently ranks fourth in the conference on parallel bars (13.5), fifth on high bar (13.283) and 10th on vault (13.967).
The Tribe will return to action when it concludes its regular-season slate against Army, Springfield and Temple at Kaplan Arena for Senior Day on Saturday at 1 p.m.
