WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—After establishing himself as one of the nation's top collegiate players, William & Mary senior defensive tackle
Bill Murray earned first-team FCS All-America honors from
Hero Sports.
Murray garnered the accolade for his exceptional play on special teams where he finished the regular season with four blocked kicks, which ranked first nationally among all Division I players (FCS and FBS).
A two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) selection, Murray, a team captain, led W&M with 11.5 TFL and 6.0 sacks during his senior season.
One of the best players in school history, Murray's career stats include 10 blocks, 19.0 sacks, 32.0 TFL, 143 tackles, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
