WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's soccer hosts Delaware on Tuesday night in a make-up match of an early September postponement due to Hurricane Dorian. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. from Martin Family Stadium and the match will be broadcast on Tribe Athletics TV.
The first 100 Tribe fans will receive William & Mary Soccer noisemakers.
Scouting the Tribe
- The Tribe is 4-7-2 on the year after following a 3-1 setback to Hofstra on Saturday.
- W&M sits in fifth place in the Colonial Athletic Association standings with seven points and a 2-2-1 record.
- Last week, the Tribe picked up its fifth CAA weekly award as freshman
Alfredo Bozalongo was named the league's rookie of the week. He scored his first two collegiate goals on free kicks, including the game-winner with 11 seconds remaining in the first OT period, in a 2-1 victory over Elon on Oct. 9.

Sam Golan received the honor on Sept. 30 after tallying a goal and an assist in a road win at Charleston.
- Freshman midfielder
Nathan Messer garnered the CAA Rookie of the Year honor on Sept. 30 after assisting on the game-winner against Loyola Maryland and scoring the game-winner at Charleston, his first collegiate goal.
- In each of the last 11 matches, the Tribe has started at least five freshmen. On three occasions this season, a total of six freshmen appeared in the W&M starting XI. It is the first time that has occurred since 2007.

Alexander Levengood, who netted his first career game-winner at Coastal Carolina chipping the goalkeeper from 25 yards out in the 96th minute, leads the Tribe in goals (4) and points (8). He ranks sixth the CAA in goals.

Julian Ngoh, who scored the Tribe's second-half equalizer against Hofstra, is tied for the team lead with eight points on three goals and two assists.
- Baskett leads the CAA in saves (57), while coming in second in shutouts (3) and save percentage (.731) and ranking sixth in goals against average (1.54). He is 18th nationally in saves, as of Oct. 20.
- Baskett tallied a career-high 11 saves against UNCW, which were the most for a W&M player since 1998 when Adin Brown tallied 12 against St. John's. The total was the most in a CAA game since 2015. He was named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week for his efforts.
- In total, 58.7 percent of the Tribe's starts this season (84-of-143) have come from its underclassmen – freshmen and sophomores. The rookies own 65 of those starts.
Scouting Delaware
- Delaware is 2-6-3 overall and has dropped three straight entering the match with the Tribe. Last week, the Blue Hens suffered a 3-2 setback to Holy Cross at home on Wednesday.
- In CAA play, the Blue Hens are 1-2-2 with a victory over Elon at home and a pair of ties at Northeastern and Charleston.
- Despite its record, UD possesses a pair of impressive nonconference results. The Blue Hens topped No. 23 West Virginia at home, 1-0, and played ACC-foe Pitt to a 3-3 draw.
- Sophomore Timo Hummrich, who was the CAA Rookie of the Year in 2018 and a preseason all-league pick, leads Delaware with nine points on four goals and an assist. All four of his goals, including two in the draw with Pitt, have come via penalty kicks. He ranks sixth in the CAA in goals and eighth in points.
- Junior Rex Twum has missed the last three matches but ranks second on the team with seven points on three goals and an assist. He is second in the CAA in points per game (1.0) and third in goals per game (0.43).
- Sophomore Renan Thomazo has started nine matches in goal, posting a goals against average of 2.17. He leads the CAA in saves per game (4.78), while ranking second in saves (43) and fourth in shutouts (2).
Series History: W&M vs. Delaware
- The Tribe holds a 15-7-2 advantage in the all-time series with Delaware, including a 7-3-1 mark in Newark.
- W&M has outscored the Blue Hens, 48-27, in those 24 games.
