WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary baseball team fell to Quinnipiac, 11-2
, in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats (3-3) finished with 12 hits for the second time in the three-game set to best the Tribe (1-7).
The Bobcats scored five runs in the first three frames, but the Tribe kept the game within reach after responding in the bottom of the fourth. Senior

Hunter Smith both singled to load the bases. Junior
Colin Lipke grounded into a double play, but Smith was still able to make it home. A QU throwing error also allowed Ryan to score, trimming the deficit to 5-2.
However, the Bobcats continued to churn out runs to lead the contest from wire-to-wire. Quinnipiac posted a trio of two-run frames in the fifth, sixth and ninth to come away with the win.

Farina was the only player to collect multiple hits after finishing 2-for-3 at the plate. Freshman

- As a team, the Bobcats went 12-for-37 (.324), while the Tribe finished 7-for-31 (.226).
- QU drove in four of its runs with two outs.
- With runners in scoring position, the Green and Gold was 1-for-6 (.167), compared to the Bobcats finishing 7-for-14 (.500).
- Quinnipiac converted three double plays.
- Tyler Pulin (1-1 ) earned the win after going six innings with two runs (one earned) on five hits and five strikeouts.

Jacob Haney (0-2) was dealt the loss as he struck out five, but yielded five hits and five runs (all earned).
