Started in 47 of 48 appearances during sophomore season…Accumulated 34 hits, career-best four doubles, and seven RBI…Notched a base hit in each game of the weekend opener at then-ranked No. 12 Clemson (Feb. 16-18)…Finished 2-for-4 with a scored run and walk in a six-run win over Maryland (2/21)…Drove in a run to help the Tribe force extra-innings at then-ranked No. 18 Virginia…Produced a 3-for-9 effort with an RBI and two scored runs as W&M took two of three from High Point (3/3-4)…Hammered first career double at Campbell (3/10)…Slapped a base hit and drove in a run during a double-digit win against Lehigh (3/14)…Doubled for the second time in contributing to shutout of ETSU (3/16)…One of just two players to notch two hits in leading the Green and Gold to a rubber-match win over ETSU (3/18)…Produced second two-hit game in last three appearances at College of Charleston (3/24)…Registered his first three-hit game at James Madison (4/13)…Posted a 2-for-3 outing with a run scored at No. 5 NC State (5/5)…Doubled and crossed home plate in the series finale with Delaware (5/13)…Belted two hits, pushed across a run and scored twice at Virginia Tech (5/15).

FRESHMAN YEAR / 2017
Named to the CAA All-Rookie Team…Earned VaSiD All-State Second Team accolades...Garnered CAA Rookie of the Week honors for the week of Feb. 27...Saw action in 42 games with 30 starts…Owned a .264 batting average (34-for-129), adding a home run, 14 RBI and 18 runs scored…Concluded the season with an eight-game on-base streak…Registered nine two-out RBI and eight multi-hit performances…Went 2-for-3 with three RBI in a win over Lafayette (2/25)…Posted a pair of hits at then-ranked No. 12 Virginia (2/28)…Drove in a pair of runs, earned a base hit and scored a run to help W&M edge Yale (3/12)…Launched first career homer and platted three runs at East Tennessee State (4/13)…Finished 2-for-3, including a walk-off RBI single, against James Madison (4/23)…Collected a couple of hits and scored a run during a win at in-state foe George Mason (4/26)…Batted .333 (4-for-12), scored a pair of runs and recorded a .429 on base percentage in the CAA Tournament (5/25-26).

Son of John Ryan and Jacqueline Desbois … Plans on majoring in economics at the College … Had an uncle that was an All-American Rugby player at George Mason, while his cousin played softball at N.C. State … Enjoys playing video games, boating, and watching movies during his free time.
