Williamsburg, Va. – The William & Mary baseball team has cancelled its series finale against Rhode Island today (March 19) due to inclement weather in the local area.
The Tribe took the weekend series from Rhode Island with a 7-3 victory on Saturday afternoon at Plumeri Park, improving its overall record to 11-7.
W&M will return to the field with a pair of mid-week games against in-state rivals on March 21-22. The Tribe will travel to Virginia Tech for their second meeting of the season on Tuesday, before hosting VMI the following day. First pitch at VT is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday's contest against VMI is slated for 6:00 p.m.
