Phil Hucles Inducted into the W&M Athletics Hall of Fame

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Phil Hucles was recently inducted into the William & Mary Athletics Hall of Fame in a ceremony held in Williamsburg on April 9th.

He was one of 10 individuals (Karen Thorne Alexih/Field Hockey/Basketball; Lang Campbell/Football; Phil Hucles/Soccer; Lindsey Lowman Miller/Lacrosse; Ed Moran/XC/T&F; Chris Rahl/Baseball; Thomas Roberts/Basketball; Ann Schnell Cliquet/Golf; Lindsay Vanderspiegel Martin/Soccer; Lynn Dameron Wolfe/Women's Gymnastics) and one team (1980 Men's Soccer) to be inducted.
 
One of the most productive players during one of the men's soccer programs more successful four-year spans, Phil Hucles will join teammate Carlos Garcia '03 in the W&M Hall of Fame.
 
As a four-time All-Conference selection (2000-2003), Hucles helped the Tribe to two NCAA tournament appearances (2000 and 2002) and a CAA title in 2000. He finished his Tribe career as fifth-best all-time goal scorer and ninth in total points.
 
Hucles was a two-time First-Team All-CAA Selection (2002 and 2003) and he ended his senior season being named to Second-Team All-America accolades.
 
Phil is currently a Labor and Employment attorney at Willcox & Savage PC in Norfolk, Virginia, where he focuses his practice representing employer and managers in litigation and guidance on various employment laws.
