WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Check out the game highlights from William and Mary men's basketball's 65-50 victory over Towson on Wednesday. Senior guard Marcus Thornton broke the oldest Division I scoring record in the country with his 23 points, surpassing long-time record holder Chet Giermak, who graduated from the College in 1950. The Tribe held Towson without a field goal for the final 17:10 of the first half as the Tigers missed their final 26 shots in the opening 20 minutes. Junior Terry Tarpey turned in a career night with 24 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, five blocked shots and three steals in the victory. The highlights are available above or by clicking HERE. The Tribe closes out the regular season at home against Drexel on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. The game will be televised regionally on Comcast SportsNet with Rob Carlin and Blaine Taylor on the call. It will be Senior Day, and W&M will honor its senior class of Tyler Johnson, Tom Schalk, Marcus Thornton and manager Brian Gelston prior to tip-off.
