Thornton and the Tribe won 20 games last season and advanced to the CAA Championship game for the third time in seven seasons. The 6-4 guard wrapped up his junior campaign with 1,519 points, which are the most for a W&M player through the first three seasons of his career, and Thornton is on pace to become the program's all-time leading scorer. A two-time NABC All-District First Team honoree, he is one of the top returning scorers and 3-point shooters in the NCAA this coming year.
