TOWSON, Md. – William and Mary baseball senior Kevin Nutter was named a Third-Team CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-American, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) this afternoon.
Nutter finished his senior season batting .290 with 67 hits, 14 doubles, 33 RBIs, and 36 runs scored. He added a .351 slugging percentage and a .379 on-base percentage, while ranking ninth in the country with 22 hit-by-pitches. Defensively, Nutter added a .997 fielding percentage, with one error in 316 chances. During his four-year career, he appeared in more than 160 games with 155 starts.
In the classroom, the Vienna, Virginia native has earned multiple Provost Awards (3.5 GPA, or higher), while finishing his degree in accounting. Earlier this year, he garnered Colonial Athletic Association All-Academic team honors, and was named to the CoSIDA/Capital One All-District team.
