The William and Mary field hockey team began an extended road swing with trip to conference-foe Delaware Friday night, falling by a 4-0 count. The Tribe is now 4-6 overall and 1-1 in the Colonial Athletic Association, while the Blue Hens improved to 7-3 and 1-0 in league play. Including Friday, W&M will play six of the next seven contests away from Williamsburg.

Pippin Saunders (Mittagong, NSW) both had one of two attempts saved by the Delaware keeper. Freshman
Maria Pastor (Burke, Va.) matched the veterans with a team-best two shots, while solo shots came from the sticks of
Chaney Manganello (Richmond, Va.) (on-cage),
Navneet Singh (Auckland, N.Z.), and
Lindsey Buckheit (East Greenwich, R.I.). In goal,
Meredith Savage (Virginia Beach, Va.) made the start and two saves, while
Cate Johnson (Charlottesville, Va.) added one save.
