William and Mary senior Alex McGrath (Marlborough, N.H.) was named the Colonial Athletic Association Runner of the Week on Tuesday, following his winning turn on Saturday.  It was his second career weekly award, but the first since the 2009 campaign.  McGrath won the 8K race at the W&M Invitational on Saturday in 26:17, leading the Tribe to a first-place team finish as well.  It was the first cross country win of his career, after he won seven track races over the past two years.

William and Mary will return to the trails in a little over a week, competing on Sept. 28 at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.
