WILLIAMSBURG. Va. - William
and Mary senior forward Emily Correal earned Colonial Athletic Association Co-Player
of the Week accolades after an impressive week on the hardwood in which she
became the 16th player in school history to score 1,000 career points. Correal garners the distinction for the
second time this season as she shares the honor with Delaware's Lauren Carra. Click on the link above or here for Correal's highlights from this past week.
In the Tribe's contest at Navy, Correal paced the Green and
Gold with 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor. On Saturday, in the College's contest at
Radford, the Venetia, Pa., native became the 17th player in school history to
reach the 1,000-point milestone. Against
the Highlanders, Correal scored a career-high 28 points, while she posted a
career-best five steals. The preseason
All-CAA selection finished the contest at Radford going 8-of-8 from the foul
line while tallying six rebounds and four assists.
The College returns to action on Friday, Dec. 21, when it
travels to North Carolina A&T. Tip-off from Greensboro, N.C., is slated for
