Williamsburg, Va. (June 14, 2011) - The William and Mary football program
announced today that Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews will replace
Wes Welker (New England Patriots) as a guest instructor at the upcoming
Colonial All-Pro Football Camp.
The camp,
which is hosted on the William and Mary campus, will start on Sunday, June 26
and run through Wednesday, June 29.
Matthews is the
reigning NFC Defensive Player of the Year and was a key cog in helping Green
Bay capture the Super Bowl XLV Title. Fellow Packer, quarterback Aaron
Rodgers, the Super Bowl MVP, will also be a guest instructor at the camp, along
with Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, the 2010 NFL Defensive
Rookie of the Year.
