The William and Mary men's basketball
team will be the No. 11 seed in the Virginia 529 College Savings Plan CAA Men's
Basketball Championship slated for March 4-7 at the Richmond Coliseum in
Richmond, Va. The Green and Gold will open play on Friday, March 4, when it
faces No. 6-seeded James Madison at 8:30 p.m. The game will be available over
the Web at CAASports.com for $4.95. The following is an informational fan guide

Mobile App for CAA Championship
The Colonial Athletic Association launched a 2011 CAA Men's
Basketball Championship App, which is formatted for IPhones, Android and
many Blackberry devices. Beginning today and throughout the
Virginia 529 College Savings Plan CAA Men's Basketball Championship, the
App will feature updated news items, including All-Conference awards,
game stories, game recap videos and coverage of post-game press
conferences. Also included will be a continuously updated tournament
blog written by Michael Litos, live audio and video (when permitted),
bracket updates, photo galleries, historical features and plenty of
information for fan-based activities while visiting Richmond. There is no charge for the App. Simply text CAAMBB to 88398 or go to CAASports.com and follow the instructions under the Download the App button. A similar App will be launched for the CAA Women's Basketball Championship next week.
Television
The first round CAA Tournament games will be streamed live over the Web at
CAASports.com. Singles games are available to purchase for $4.95 or fans can

The quarterfinals and semifinals will be televised both locally and regionally.
The quarterfinals on Saturday, March 5, will be televised in Hampton Roads on
WSKY Channel 4 as well as regionally on The Comcast Network, Comcast/Charter
Sports Southeast and CAA-TV. The Sunday, March 6, semifinals will be available
on WSKY, The Comcast Network, Comcast SportsNet New England, Comcast/Charter
Sports Southeast and CAA-TV. The CAA Championship Game on Monday, March 8, will
be televised nationally on ESPN. All quarterfinal and semifinal games as well
as the championship game will be available over the Internet at ESPN3.com.
Radio
Fans can follow W&M on the Tribe Radio Network with Jay Colley, Bill
McDonald and Charlie Woollum on the call. The Tide 92.3 FM in Williamsburg is
the flagship station of the Tribe Radio Network. The broadcast will also be
available online at TribeAthletics.com. Click HERE for the Tribe's
live audio link. The CAA Men's Basketball Championship will also be broadcast
nationally on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 126, and locally in Richmond, on
ESPN Radio 950 AM. Monday's championship game will also be broadcast nationally
on the Westwood One radio network.
Tickets
Fans can purchase tickets through Ticket Master online at TicketMaster.com or
by calling 1-800-745-3000. Click HERE for the
Ticket Master Web site. The ticket book that includes all 11 games and six
sessions is $80, and single session tickets are on sale for $25. A Full Court
Frenzy Ticket Package is also available for $35 that includes tickets to both
the semifinal and championship sessions.
CAA students can purchase a single session ticket for $5.50 with valid CAA
School ID on the day of game only at the Richmond Coliseum Box Office. No
advance sales.
Directions to the Richmond Coliseum/Parking
From Hampton / Norfolk / Va. Beach Area (East)
Travel west on I-64 to Richmond city limits. Take Exit 190, it will say
Coliseum/5th Street/ Downtown, and follow the signs to the Coliseum. It will be
on the left.
From Charlottesville / Roanoke Area (West)
Travel east on I-64 to Richmond city limits. You will be forced to merge onto
I-95 SOUTH. Travel another 2-3 miles on I-95 South and take Exit 75 -It will
say 3rd Street/Downtown/Coliseum-and follow the signs to the Coliseum. It will
be on the left.
From Northern VA. / Fredericksburg / D.C. Area (North)
Travel South on I-95 to Richmond City limits. Take Exit 75, it will say 3rd
Street/Downtown/ Coliseum, and follow the signs to the Coliseum. It will be on
the left.
From Petersburg / Chester Area (South)
Travel North on I-95 to Richmond city limits. Take the Broad Street exit and
continue to 7th Street. Turn right. The Coliseum will be on the left.
From South West Richmond (Brandermill / Midlothian / Chesterfield Area)
Travel east on Rt.360 from Brandermill or RT. 60 from Midlothian/Chesterfield.
Take Powhite Parkway northbound, take Downtown Expressway exit going east, take
7th and 9th street exits headed north into the city. Turn left on 7th street.
Go north about five blocks. The coliseum will be on your left. Toll fares must
be paid on this route.
