Vanessa Moore joined the Tribe Club staff in February of 2020 as the Director of Athletics Annual Giving/Associate Director, Athletics Advancement.
As a part of the athletics advancement team, her primary responsibility is the planning, coordination, implementation, and management of Tribe Athletics’ annual giving program with an emphasis on acquisition and retention of donors supporting Athletics at W&M.
Prior to joining W&M, Moore served as the Director of the Ram Athletic Fund for VCU Athletics. In her role, she oversaw all annual fund operations, student-athlete alumni engagement, and implemented the department’s first student-athlete alumni giving society.
Moore also spent four years as the Director of Basketball Operations for the VCU women’s basketball team. She joined the team’s staff in 2015 as a graduate assistant.
Moore is a 2013 graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in government. She also was a four-year letter winner on the women’s basketball team.
In 2017, Moore received a dual-master’s degree at VCU — M.B.A. and M.Ed. Sport Leadership.
