Nick Georges serves as the assistant director of athletics development and joined the staff in May, 2014. Georges' primary focus is raising money for the Tribe’s men’s programs, while he is also very involved with the “Friends” programs.

Prior to coming to William and Mary, Georges most served as a development graduate assistant with VCU Athletics in the Ram Athletic Fund, while finishing his mater’s degree in VCU’s Sports Leadership program. He contributed to a wide-range of development projects in his time with VCU, including annual giving and involvement in helping secure funding for the Ram’s $25 million new basketball facility. He also gained experience in new donor engagement, working donor centric events and was involved with the Ram’s reseating initiatives for men’s basketball in the Siegel Center.

Georges did his undergraduate work at Roanoke College, where he was also a member of the men’s soccer program. He graduated in May of 2012 with a degree in biology and a minor in environmental science. 

A passionate fan of soccer, he has served as both a coach and fundraiser for the FC Richmond Soccer Club. As the assistant fundraiser for the club, he assisted in the raising of more than $50,000 for capital projects and helped manage the organization’s sponsorship opportunities.
