Justin Roberto

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Justin Roberto started his golf career three decades ago and has continued to keep his passion alive alongside the Tribe, serving the last six years as the volunteer assistant coach for the women’s golf program.

Prior to joining the Tribe, Roberto pursued the dream of playing on the PGA Tour. For seven years, Justin made a living traveling the country playing various tournaments and Monday qualifiers in pursuit of that dream.

His professional career came to a halt after injuries and major surgery in 2016 and 2017. During his professional career, Roberto posted seven victories and 27 top-10’s across the country. He continues to carry his PGA card.

As the Tribe’s volunteer assistant, Roberto has helped the Tribe to three team victories, most recently winning the Elon Invitational during the fall of 2021.

After many years in pursuit of the PGA Tour, Roberto made the decision to focus his passion and drive on helping people achieve their financial goals. He’s partnered with some of the nation’s leading financial planning experts, allowing him to bring clients unparalleled sophistication together with his own brand of personal attention. He is the founder of Colonial Wealth Strategies, primarily working with families, young professionals and athletes.

Roberto graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a concentration in Professional Golf Management from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He lives in Williamsburg with his wife, Hannah, a 2014 graduate of William & Mary and 2015 graduate from the School of Education. The couple has a puppy named Winston.
