2017-18 (at South Alabama)
Indoor: Never finished lower than third ... Opened the year with an indoor-best 4.95m (16-2.75) to win the Vanderbilt Invitational ... All-Conference for the second time in his career indoors, finishing second at the Sun Belt Championships with a lifetime-best 5.28m (17-3.75) ... Also had three other meets of 5.20m or better over the winter.
Outdoor: Set his lifetime-best at home at the South Alabama Invitational in early April, jumping 5.40m (17-8.5) ... Ranked him tied for 20th in the NCAA at the end of the spring, and tied for 12th in the East Region ... Went on to finish 19th overall at the Eastern Semifinals, clearing the bar at 5.15m (16-10.75) ... Finished fourth at the Sun Belt Championships ... Took third at the Texas Relays in late March with a then-best mark of 5.35m (17-6.5) ... Over the summer, named by Athletics South Africa to the international team for the Athletics World Cup in London, but was unable to compete due to injury ... Was the only men's pole vaulter selected for his national team ... Named to the Sun Belt Commissioner's List, for having a GPA over 3.5.
 
2016-17 (at South Alabama)
Indoor: Redshirted.
Outdoor: Placed 14th in the East Region Preliminary round for men's pole vault, clearing 5.25 meters and missing a NCAA Championship berth in the event by two places ... Placed third in the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships men's pole vault, clearing 5.02m and earning all-league honors ... Won the event at the University of Mobile Invitational, clearing 5.10m ... Placed eighth in the Florida Relays with a 4.92-meter jump ... Earned third at Samford's Alabama Track Challenge, clearing 4.81m ... Named to the Sun Belt Commissioner's List, for having a GPA over 3.5.
 
2015-16 (at South Alabama)
Indoor: Moved to second on the Jaguars' all-time list in the men's heptathlon at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, recording 4,920 points ... Also placed fifth in the meet's men's pole vault, clearing 4.85m ... Placed fifth at the Jaguar (Indoor) Invitational, clearing 4.97m ... Finished ninth at the Commodore Invitational hosted by Vanderbilt with a height of 4.80m. 
Outdoor: Finished 28th in the men's pole vault at the East Region Preliminaries, clearing 5.00m after being seeded No. 17 ... Finished fourth at the Sun Belt Championships in the event, clearing 4.96m ... Placed third at the Mississippi State Invite, clearing 4.90m ... Placed second at the Louisiana Classics posting a personal-best 5.10m ... Won the men's pole vault event at the Jaguar Opener, clearing 5.01m ... Named to the inaugural Sun Belt Commissioner's List, for having a GPA over 3.5.
 
2014-15 (at South Alabama)
Indoor: Recorded a season-best 4.91m height in the pole vault at the Sun Belt Championships to finish second in the event and earn all-league honors ... Cleared 4.90m in the discipline in his collegiate debut at the Commodore Indoor Invitational ... Placed third in the event at the UAB Vulcan Invite with a 4.85m mark ... Was fourth in the pole vault and also participated in the long jump at the Samford Invitational.
Outdoor: Tied for sixth place with a 4.79m mark in the pole vault at the Sun Belt Conference Championships ... Recorded season-best height of 4.95m at the South Alabama Invitational, finishing third ... Finished fifth at the Tiger Track Classic (4.90m) and sixth at the War Eagle Invitational (4.80m), both hosted by Auburn ... Had a 4.80m mark to come in fourth place in the event at both the Jaguar Opener and Battle of I-65.

Three-time national schools' champion in the pole vault ... Set records  at Paarl Gymnasium for U15, U17, and U19 Pole Vault ... Also played rugby, earning several appearances on Paarl's first XV team (varsity).

Son of Daniel and Marieke Giliomee ... Cousin, Laura Labuschaigne, also went to South Alabama and transferred to W&M for her final year of eligibility ... Enjoys spending time on the farm and outdoors, reading educational books, and is an adrenaline junky ... Enrolled in W&M's Masters of Accounting program after earning his bachelor's degree magna cum laude in economics.
