Finished fifth in the 100 breast at the CAA Championships ... Just missed advancing in the 200 breast, taking 18th overall ... Finished sixth in the 50 free at the Cavalier Invitational ... Made the C finals in both breaststrokes at the Hokie Fall Invitational ... Improved his times in the evening in both events.

2011-12
Broke the school and freshman records in the 100 breaststroke at the CAA Championships ... Swam 56.50 in the prelims to claim the rookie record ... Followed up in the finals with a fifth-place 56.19 to take down the all-time record ... Also made the championship heat of the 200 breast, finishing seventh overall ... Swam 2:04.34 in the prelims, just behind the existing freshman record ... Made the C finals of both breaststrokes and the 200 IM at the Terrapin Cup ... Best finish in dual-meet competition came in his very first race, the 100 breast against Towson.

Prep: Scholastic All-American ... Earned All-American honors, as well as all-state and all-island distinction during his high school career ... Two-time Junior National qualifier in the 100 breaststroke for the Long Island Aquatic Club ... Holds the section record in the 100 breaststroke ... Finished third in the 100 breaststroke at the NYSPHSAA State meet and finaled in 200 IM ... Finalist in the 50 and 100 breaststroke at the NCSA Junior Nationals ... Member of the National Honor Society ... NYSPHSAA Leadership Award winner ... Honor Roll all four years ... National Citizenship Award honoree.
