CAA Champion in the 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay ... Helped break the conference record in both events ... Named first-team all-state on the 200 medley relay ... Also named second-team all-state in the backstroke and on the 400 medley relay ... Set the school record in the 50 back twice ... First, at the West Virginia Invitational, swam 22.00 leading off the 200 medley relay ... Then, led-off the 200 medley relay at the CAA Championships in 21.17 seconds ... Finished second overall in the 100 back in 46.69 seconds, breaking the school record ... One hour later, led-off the 400 medley relay in 46.43 seconds to break the conference record set by the winner of the 100 back ... Also finished sixth in the 200 back after swimming a lifetime-best 1:47.04 in the prelims ... Finished 16th in the 50 free with another lifetime-best of 20.77 seconds ... Led-off the 200 medley relay at the Princeton Last Chance Meet in 21.67 seconds ... Broke the Tribe dual-meet record in the 100 back in back-to-back meets against Old Dominion and Davidson ... Added the pool record in the 100 back in the Davidson meet at 48.76 seconds ... Set three pool records in the 200 medley relay and four total dual meet records (the three 200 medley relays, and the 400 medley relay) ... Totaled 207.25 points and eight wins on the season ... 2018-19
Won his first CAA individual title in the 100 back ... First winner in the event for W&M since 2014 ... Swam a lifetime-best 48.04 ... Also led-off W&M to wins in both medley relays, both with conference-record times ... Broke the W&M school record in the 50 back, leading-off the 200 medley relay in 22.20 seconds ... Made the consolation finals of the 200 back, finishing 10th overall ... Swam a lifetime-best 21.63 in the prelims of the 50 free ... At the end of the season, named second-team all-state in the backstroke and on both medley relays on the first-ever VaSID all-state team ... At the TYR Invitational in November, tied for fourth overall in the 50 back and finished 15th in the 100 back ... Totaled 127.75 points on the year with two wins and 12 podium finishes ... Both wins came in the 100 back at the CAA Championships, in the prelims and the finals ...  CAA Academic Honor Roll for having a GPA over 3.0.

2017-18
CAA Champion in the 400 medley relay ... Led-off the Tribe to a record-setting time of 3:13.29 ... CAA Silver-Medalist in the 100 back ... Swam a lifetime-best 48.22 in the prelims before swimming 48.24 in the finals ... Finished ninth in the 200 back for the second year in a row, setting a lifetime-best 1:48.26 ... Also swam a lifetime-best 1:55.44 in the prelims of the 200 IM ... Won the 100 back against Old Dominion, Florida Atlantic, and NJIT ... Made the championship finals of the 100 back at the Big Al Invitational, finishing eighth overall.

2016-17
Made the CAA Championships squad ... Finished sixth in the 100 back ... Finished ninth in the 200 back as well ... Recorded four wins during the regular season ... Took the 100 back against Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, and Davidson ... Also won the 50 back against Delaware ... Made the C finals at the Hokie Fall Invitational in the 100 back, finishing 22nd overall.

Scholastic All-American ... Took third at the Virginia 6A state championships in the 100 back each of the past two seasons ... Won the region title both years as well ... Led Cox to all four district and region championships ... Took third at the Virginia Senior Championships in the 100 back in 2016 ... Member of the Spanish Honor Society ... Son of Dan and Jenny Demers ... Brother, Kyle, is a freshman on the W&M men's swimming team ... Enjoys spending time at the beach.
