Dave and Andy Hunter formed an absolutely outstanding tandem as co-captains in 2011.  They were both past Rock Award winners as the hardest working gymnast who could always be counted on when the going got tough and carried forward that spirit throughout the entire year...Dave finished the season as our number five team point scorer and second in hit percentage for gymnasts who competed over 20 routines during the season... Dave could always be counted on to step up at the right moment... He finishes his W&M career ranked fourth in our all-time records in the all-around, rings, and vaulting as well as 10^th on floor exercise...He is the son of Dave and Tricia Ellis and was coached by his dad at the Ellis School of Gymnastics...Dave moved up to first team Academic All-American this season and also received USA Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete honors while graduating with a degree from the renowned Mason school of business. He will put his degree in process management and consulting with a concentration in entrepreneurship will be put to good use I n the Washington, DC area next year as a federal analyst in Deloitte's consulting division...Dave's work ethic, enthusiasm and leadership will take him a long way in life and will surely be missed here at William and Mary.
