SENIOR YEAR (2012-13)
Named the CAA Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... Also selected as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon Scholar All-American ... Named first-team All-CAA, tying the program record with his third-straight all-conference nod ... Also named second-team All-State by VaSID over the summer ... Led W&M once again, average 72.8 strokes per round, the second-best single-season average in school history ... Had 695 individual victories, becoming just the second player in team history to have three straight years of 600+ wins ... Finished the year at the CAA Championships, shooting 220 (+4) to finish third overall and claim a spot on the All-Tournament team ... Was named CAA Golfer of the Week three times, including in the spring after winning the Towson Invitational at 216 (E) ... His first career medal was also the first for a W&M golfer since 2008 ... Led the Tribe to the team title at Towson, for the first team win since 2005 ... Shot a career-low tying 68 (-4) in the opening round at Towson ... JUNIOR YEAR (2011-12)
Named second-team All-CAA for the second year in a row ... Led the Tribe with 74.8 strokes per round and 631 total victories ... Tied his career low with a third-round 67 (-4) to open the year at Marshall ... That helped him finish the tournament with a career-best score of 210 (-3) ... Set the program record with 13 rounds of par or better on the year ... Runner-up at the Joe Agee Invitational in the second tournament of the year ... Named All-State and All-Prep League in 2008-09 … Placed third in the state tournament in 2009 … Helped lead team to prep league title in 2008 and was named captain in 2009 … Spent his first three years at Prince George High School where he was named to the All-Richmond Times Team in 2005 and 2006 … Earned All-Region honors in 2005 and All-District accolades in 2005 and 2006 … Also named All-Academic Region in 2005 and All- Academic District in 2005 and 2006 … Finished in a tie for ninth at the 2009 Virginia State Amateur after qualifying with a 146 and winning his first match … Was also a member of the National Honor Society …

PERSONAL
Son of Leigh and Betsy Wells … Brother, Hunter, graduated from the College in 2008 and was president of the club golf team in 2007 and 2008 … Enjoys hunting, fishing, and music in his leisure time … Plans on majoring in business at William and Mary.
