Cross Country: Redshirted ... Ran three times unattached, at both of W&M's home meets and the Cavalier Open.
Indoor: Appeared in four meets ... Best performance came at the Vince Brown Invitational, where he was fifth in the 3,000m run.
Outdoor: Just missed scoring in two events at the CAA Championships ... Finished ninth, one place out of the points, at 5,000m and 10th in the 3,000m steeplechase ... Had never attempted the steeplechase before.
Prep: Won the Florida state championship at 3,200m as a senior ... Runner-up at the state cross country meet as a senior as well ... Won three region championships, including cross country in 2009 and both the 1,600m and 3,200m in 2011 ... Named the Broward Country Runner of the Year in cross country by the
Miami Herald in 2009 ... Same paper also named him the Broward Scholar-Athlete Award-winner, as the top prep scholar-athlete in the county ... National Merit Finalist ... AP Scholar with Distinction ... National Honor Society ... Model UN delegate.
Personal: Son of JP and Terry Hendricks ... Both parents ran at Gettysburg College ... Also had two uncles, John and Ed, who both ran at Monmouth ... Enjoys running triathlons, playing tennis, and reading.
