WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – For the second consecutive week, multiple William & Mary football standouts earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors after helping lead the Tribe to an impressive victory, as junior kicker Max Lipinski and wide receiver Khylil Johnson garnered accolades.
 
Lipinski was honored as the special teams player of the week for the second straight week, while Johnson was selected as the rookie of the week.
 
Lipinski connected on three of his four field goal attempts, including a career-long 51-yard kick during the fourth quarter of W&M's 22-15 win against Delaware State. His lone miss came from 49 yards, while he was responsible for 10 of the Tribe's points.
 
The King George, Va., native currently leads the nation in made field goals (8) and points among kickers (27), while he ranks sixth in scoring among all players.
 
Johnson was voted as the league's top rookie after leading W&M's receivers with four catches for 83 yards. Highlighting his performance was a 63-yard reception that set up the Tribe's first score.
 
The Pittsburgh, Pa., native leads W&M with eight catches for 158 yards and is averaging 19.75 yards per reception.
 
Sophomore defensive lineman Nathaniel McDonald earned honorable mention defensive player of the week honors following his big performance. The Chesapeake, Va., native recorded four tackles, 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble, a PBU and five quarterback hurries. His outstanding effort helped the Tribe force six turnovers.
 
The No. 17/19 Tribe will return to action when it plays at No. 10 Lehigh on Saturday at 2 p.m.
