WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary men's and women's basketball will welcome Tribe students and season ticket members to Kaplan Arena for Tribe Basketball Madness on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with fans having the opportunity to interact with Tribe student-athletes through a variety of activations on the Kaplan Arena concourse from 6-6:30 p.m. Student-athletes from both programs will participate in photo stations, a kids' dunk station and other activities with fans.

The action will then move to the court beginning at 6:30 p.m. with introductions of the women's and men's basketball teams. The evening will feature a 3-point contest with student-athletes from both programs, along with several interactive competitions involving players, coaches and students.

Among the competitions will be "Is It E or Earl?," which will put the basketball coaching staffs to the test to see how well they know the head coaches. The assistants from each team will work together to answer a series of questions by deciding whether the answer applies to women's basketball head coach Erin Dickerson Davis or men's basketball head coach Brian Earl.

Students and student organizations will have the opportunity to get in on the action as well, with students teaming up with members of both basketball programs in an on-court shooting competition.

Participating student organizations will have a basketball student-athlete represent them on the court in a special game of basketball knockout, with the winning student-athlete earning a prize for their organization. Student organizations must have members in attendance to be represented in the competition.

Fans will also have an opportunity to hear from both head coaches before the event concludes, while William & Mary cheer and dance will take part in the evening.

Students in attendance will receive pizza from Anna's, while season ticket members will receive popcorn and a commemorative cup. Giveaways will be available while supplies last.

Tribe Basketball Madness provides fans with an opportunity to meet the 2026-27 William & Mary men's and women's basketball teams ahead of the upcoming season.
