WASHINGTON, D.C. — Julie Addison broke a dual-meet record in the 200 back as William & Mary swimming swept Georgetown in the season opener on Saturday afternoon at the McCarthy Pool. The women's team won 177-117 while the men scored a 158-136 victory.

Addison finished the 200 back in 1:58.39 to break the program's dual-meet record and win the event. The senior also picked up victories in the 100 back (54.40) and 200 IM (2:05.46) while leading off for the first-place 200 medley relay that finished in 1:41.47.

The Tribe registered numerous individual victories throughout the day. Lauren Tucker won the women's 1000 free with a time of 10:16.16, while Tyler Barritt took the men's 1000 free after clocking in at 9:28.82.

In the 200 free, Haley Lehman led the women with a time of 1:50.87. It was one of her two event victories as she also took the 500 free at 4:58.12. David Yune finished first in the men's 200 free at 1:41.11. 

Thomas Duncan registered an individual win in the 100 back after finishing in 49.63. He also scored a first-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:52.05.

Flynn Truskett had a strong performance, anchoring the 200 free relay to a first-place finish, while also winning the 50 free with a time of 23.53. On the men's side, Aiden Bond placed first in the 50 free, clocking in at 20.43.

In addition, the Tribe swept the 100 breast between freshman Nelli Sandor (1:04.58) and Toby Herzog (55.77). In the 100 fly, Sammy Randell placed first with a time of 56.03.
