WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis earned a 6–1 victory over Drexel on Sunday at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
The win improves the Tribe to 8–3 overall, including a 2–0 mark in Coastal Athletic Association play and a 5–2 record at home this season, while the Dragons fall to 5–4 on the year.
William & Mary set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. Francesca Davis and Tilda Larsson opened with a dominant 6–0 victory over Adva Dabah and Lorie Lemongo at No. 1 doubles. Alexia Gonzalez-Galino and Mira Kernagis followed with a 6–1 win at No. 2, while Emma Pell and Yaelle Vaissaud capped the sweep with a 7–6 victory at the No. 3 position.
The Tribe carried that momentum into singles play, winning five of the six matches to secure the team victory.
Francesca Davis earned a straight-set 6–2, 6–0 win over Dabah at No. 3 singles, while Mira Kernagis added a 6–3, 6–2 victory against Rebecca Fiedler at No. 4. Rebeka Svabikova also claimed a point for the Tribe with a 6–1, 6–2 win over Sofiya Snitko at No. 5 singles.
Emma Pell picked up a win by retirement at No. 6 singles after taking the opening set 6–2, while Sia Chaudry battled through a three-set match to defeat Lemongo, 6–3, 2–6, 10–8, at the top spot. Drexel's lone point came at No. 2 singles.

William & Mary heads to the Carolinas for a two-match road trip next week. The Tribe will visit UNC Wilmington on Thursday, March 12, before traveling to Charleston for a matchup on Saturday, March 14.
